Installation
Using our What you Should Know guide assists you in understanding which materials you are going to be using and what preparation may be needed. Installation of each product has different variables. The general rules apply to most projects regardless of the product you choose.
- Know roughly what your budget is and what grade of material you want to use.
- Are there appliances that must be moved?
- Gas appliances need to be moved by the gas company or a licensed gas technician.
- Will the other appliances require disconnecting?
- Is there water hooked up to your refrigerator, does the Dishwasher need to be moved.
- Is there extensive wiring from your computer, TV or stereo that needs to be marked off with colored tape?
- Does the trim around the baseboard need to be removed or is the flooring going to fit under it?
- Will your floor stand up to the weight of the material you are adding? Such as tile?
- Will the job be done using "Power Stretching" or "Knee Stretching techniques?
